Mr. Kerry Harlon Hampton, age 51, of Cedartown, Georgia passed away on Sunday, February 22, 2009 after an extended illness. He was born August 2, 1957 in Polk County, Georgia.

He was a customer service representative with O'Reilly Auto Parts in Cedartown.

Mr. Kerry Hampton is survived by his mother, Irene Tanner Hampton. Other loving family members surviving are aunts, Dean Rowell, Edna Mosley and husband, Charles; uncles, Leon Tanner, Marvin Hampton and wife, Jean, Eugene Hampton and wife, Margaret, John Allen Hampton and wife, Gloria. Other beloved family members are Kim Rowell Bentley and husband, Elmer, Julie Bentley, Kyle Bentley, Laura Oliver and husband, Tommy, Scott Rowell, Hope Lanham and husband, Buck, Paula Brown and husband, Jack, Janet Goggins and husband, Dicky, and Amanda Easley and husband, Matt.

Mr. Kerry Hampton is preceded in death by his father, James Harlon Hampton.

The funeral service for Mr. Kerry Harlon Hampton will be conducted on Wednesday, February 25, 2009, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Owen "Bud" Davis, Jr. and Rev. Anthony Osborne officiating. Music for the funeral service will be presented by Hope and Buck Lanham.

The interment will be in Polk Memory Gardens.

Pallbearers are Elmer Bentley, Scott Rowell, Lee Richardson, Zack Nichols, Leland Ledford and David Molock.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 24, from 5:00 - 8:00 pm. at the Gammage Funeral Home.
