Mrs. Kathy Renee Willingham Whitfield, age 64 of Cedartown, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, May 29, 2019.  She was born on June 2, 1954 in Atlanta, Georgia.  She was the daughter of the late Rev. George Monroe Willingham Jr. and Myrtice Willingham.

Mrs. Whitfield is survived by her husband, Johnny Mike Whitfield; son, Ashley Brian Whitfield; sister, Tracey Denise McKibben; brother, Wade Dexter Willingham; brother-in-law, Glenn Whitfield; god mother, Louise Martin; several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

Mrs. Whitfield is preceded in death by her parents.

The funeral arrangements for Mrs. Kathy Renee Willingham Whitfield will be held on Monday, June 3, 2019 at two o'clock in the afternoon at the Faith Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Danny Tucker, Rev. Randy Stephens, and Mr. Wade Willingham officiating. Interment will follow in the Polk Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

The family of Mrs. Whitfield will receive family and friends on Sunday, June 2, 2019 from 6 o'clock in the evening until 9 o'clock in the evening at the Gammage Funeral Home.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Jimmy McKibben, Matthew McKibben, Dewey Chandler, Mitch Abney, Tony Shubert, and David Willingham.
