Mr. Julius Edwin "P-Nut" Spann, Jr. age 63 of Cedartown, passed away on Sunday, January 22, 2017. He was born on February 15, 1953 in Cedartown, GA. He was the son of the late Julius Edwin Spann, Sr. and Tulane Forrister Spann.

Mr. Spann is survived by his daughter, Sally Alane Spann; son, Brian E. Spann; sisters, Jan Rose (Bill) and Nancy Hagan, and grandchildren, Taylor Spann, Makayla Hood, Ahmia Hood, Jessie Hood, Ahmad Hood and Dani Nolen.

Mr. Spann is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Angela Lorranie Phillips Spann and sister, Gail Twilley.

In keeping with Mr. Spann's wishes he was cremated. A memorial service for Mr. Julius Edwin Spann will be conducted on Thursday, January 26, 2017 at eleven o'clock in the morning in the chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home with Mr. Bruce Phillips officiating. Inurnment will follow in the Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family of Mr. Spann will receive family and friends on Thursday, January 26, 2017 from ten o'clock in the morning until the memorial service hour at the Gammage Funeral Home.
