Ms. Julia Ferguson Hampton, age 71 of Cantonment, Florida, formerly of Cedartown, passed away on Saturday, August 29, 2015. She was born on August 19, 1944 in Cedartown. She was the daughter of the late Paul and Lois Sara Jane Mull Ferguson.

Ms. Hampton is survived by her daughter, Jenny Ladele Hampton-Dobay; sons, Daniel Olan Hampton, Robert Shannon Hampton and Sam Wade Hampton; sister, Shelby J. Watson; brother, Paul Wayne Ferguson; 16 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Ms. Hampton is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Olan Hampton; sons, Timothy Wayne Hampton and John David Hampton and sister, Geneva Ann Lindsey.

A graveside service for Ms. Hampton will be conducted on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at two o'clock in the afternoon at Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Dr. DeWayne New officiating.

The family of Ms. Hampton will receive family and friends on Tuesday, September 1, 2015 from five o'clock in the evening until seven o'clock in the evening at the Gammage Funeral Home.
