Julia Ann Boswell Duena's Obituary
Mrs. Julia Ann Boswell Duena, age 85 of Cedartown, passed away on Wednesday, July 3, 2013. She was born on October 22, 1927 in Bartow County, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late John Tate and Elma Raines McEntyre.
Mrs. Duena was a member of the First Baptist Church of Cedartown. She was formerly employed as a Home Health Tech in the Health Care industry. Mrs. Duena was a 15 year employee with Colonial Big Star.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Grady Boswell and O.W. Surrett; son Billy Boswell and brothers, Charles Tate and Billy Tate.
Mrs. Duena is survived by her loving husband, Francisco Duena; daughters and sons-in-law, Joan Burkhalter and Dennis, Debbie Frasier and Glen; two step- children, Francisco Manuel Duena and Gilda Bell; sister, Susan Winn of Huntsville, AL; brother, Eddie Tate of Ash Camp, KY; five grandchildren, Robin Forston, Heather Lucas, Faith Mayfield, Ricky Peck, John Frasier; thirteen great grandchildren; two step granddaughters and one step grandson; one great-great- granddaughter and several nieces and nephews also survive.
The funeral service for Mrs. Julia Ann Duena will be conducted on Sunday, July 7, 2013 at 4:00 o'clock in the sanctuary of the First Baptist Church of Cedartown with Dr. David Taylor and Rev. Wayne Benefield officiating. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
The family of Mrs. Duenas will receive family and friends on Sunday, July 7, 2013 from two o'clock until four o'clock in the afternoon in the sanctuary of the First Baptist Church of Cedartown. Flowers are being accepted; however, memorial donations can be made to any of the following, First Baptist Church Memorial Fund or First Baptist Church Bus Fund, 101 N. College Street, Cedartown, GA 30125 or Heyman Hospice of Floyd, 420 East Second Avenue, Suite 105, Rome, GA 30161.
