Mrs. Judy Colleen Layne Barrett, age 69, of Buchanan, passed away on Wednesday, January 25, 2017. She was born on December 27, 1947 in Signal Mountain, Tennessee. She was the daughter of the late James Albert Layne and Alice Neal Layne.

Mrs. Barrett is survived by her daughter, Bobbi Barrett; sons, Lonnie Barrett (Brenda), Kenny Barrett and Toad Barrett (Christy); sisters, Betty Holland, Nina Ford and Jean Welch; brother, Bo Layne; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Ms. Barrett is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Morgan Ernest Barrett and sisters, Louis McCormick and Wanda Sue Weaver.

The funeral arrangements for Mrs. Judy Colleen Barrett will be conducted on Saturday, January 28, 2017 at one o'clock in the afternoon in the chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home with Rev. Kermit Pruitt officiating. Interment will follow in the Center Baptist Church Cemetery in Felton, Georgia.

The family of Mrs. Barrett will receive family and friends on Friday, January 27, 2017 from six o'clock in the evening until eight o'clock in the evening at the Gammage Funeral Home.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Chad Fortune, Alen Barrett, Cody Barrett, Dylan Lackey, Hunter Barrett, Trent Barrett and Kaden Fortune.
