Mrs. Joyce Truett Minshew, age 59, of 43 Lakeview Drive, Lindale, passed away on Saturday evening, June 5, 2010, at her residence.

Mrs. Minshew was born in Cedartown, Georgia on August 3, 1950, daughter of B. J. Treutt and the late Lucille Payton White. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Philip Lewis Minshew, on November 27, 2003, and by her brother, Max McGee. Mrs. Minshew worked for a number of years at SunTrust Bank.

Survivors include a daughter, Ms. Nikki Renee Bagley, Lindale; 2 granddaughters, Miss Kaitlin Ann Davis and Miss Gracie Scott Bagley, both of Lindale; her father, B. J. Truett and his wife, Jimmie, Cedartown; 3 sisters, Ms. Dody Moore, Ms. LaDonna Shoemake, and Ms. Donna Folsom; 3 brothers, Keith McGee, Johnny Truett, and Chris Truett; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 8, 2010, at 1pm in the Chapel at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home with Dr. Keith Kelley officiating. Interment will follow in Rome Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home on Monday from 6 until 8pm. At other hours they will be at the residence.

Pallbearers are asked to assemble at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home on Tuesday at 12:30pm and include: Rick Minshew, Steve Minshew, Chris Truett, Michael Payton, Johnny Truett, and Larry Osborne.

Henderson & Sons Funeral Home has charge of the funeral arrangements.
