Mrs. Joyce Packer McGee, age 76, of Cedartown, passed away on Sunday, December 5, 2021. She was born on September 13, 1945 in Cedartown. She was the daughter of the late Elbert H. and Ruth Gertrude Lorren Packer.

Mrs. McGee is survived by her daughters, Terry McElwee and Donna McGee; sons, Brian McGee (Shannon) and Keith McGee (Tiffany); sisters, Joan Packer Lindsey (Benny) and Ann Packer Morris; 10 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. McGee is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jon McGee; sisters, Carolyn Welchel and Betty Shaw; and brother, Elbert H. Packer, Jr.

In keeping with Mrs. McGee's wishes, she was cremated.  A memorial service for Mrs. Joyce Packer McGee will be held on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at two o'clock in the afternoon at Shiloh Baptist Church with Rev. Jamie Newsome officiating. Inurnment will be held at Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery at a later date.
