Mrs. Joyce Imogene Heath Gentry, age 81, of Cedartown passed away on Saturday, December 12, 2009. She was born November 5, 1928 in Calhoun Co., Alabama.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Early Heath and Pearl Hulsey Heath; husband, David Gentry; daughters, Myrtice Gentry and Vicky Najmeh; son, Ronald Gentry; and sister, Jewel Burton Neely.

Mrs. Gentry is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Lydia Graham and Allen Duncan of Cedartown, Leigh Ann Crawford and Mike McClure of Indiana, PA, and Barbara Fleming and Michael of Jackson, GA; sons, David Gentry of Rex, GA and Donnie Gentry of Rex, GA; daughter-in-law, Marisa Gentry; and a brother, John W. Heath of Plainview TX. Twenty Eight grandchildren, thirty great grand children and several nieces and nephews also surive.

The graveside funeral service for Mrs. Joyce Gentry will be conducted on Tuesday, December 15, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. at Youngs Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Earl Partain, Sr. officiating.

The family will receive friends on Monday, December 14th, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday, December 15 th, for two hours prior to the service at the Gammage Funeral Home.

Pallbearers are Mike McClure, Steven Kelley, Brian Kelley, Ben Knight, Phil Donnell, and Donald Graham.
