Mr. Joseph Lee Jeffers, age 48 of Cedartown, passed away on Wednesday, July 27, 2016. He was born on November 20, 1968 in Oceanside, California. He was the son of Robert Jeffers of Lakewood, California, and Earline Gowens of Cedartown, Georgia. He is the godson of Andy and Esther Brazier of Cedartown, Georgia.

Mr. Jeffers is survived by his son, Joseph Lee Jeffers II of Cedartown, Georgia, and his sister, Juanita Jeffers Gribble, of Escondido, California.

Mr. Jeffers is preceded in death by his stepfather Freddie Gowens; grandparents Grady & Alice Allen and Troy & Pearl Gowens.

Per Mr. Jeffers wishes, he has been cremated.

The family plans to hold a private memorial service in the future.
