Mr. Joseph Joel Barber, age 45 of Cedartown, Georgia, passed away on Monday, January 6 ^th , 2020. He was born on May 22, 1974 in Rome, Georgia. He was the son of James Franklin Barber, Sr. and the late Cathy Ann Bailey Barber.

Mr. Barber is survived by his father; brothers, James Barber, Jr. and Preston Barber (Alisa); sisters, Caren Ulrich (Keith), Brandy Barber (Eric), and Tonya Mejia (Remigio); nieces and nephews, Alex Ulrich, Adam Ulrich, Lydia Peterson, Melanie Meeker, Maggie Meeker, Dylin Parker, Ethan Parker, Noah Barber, Gracie Barber and Addie Smith; also Aunt and Uncle Larry "Papa" Welchel and Colline "Nana" Welchel.

Mr. Barber is preceded in death by his mother, Cathy Ann Bailey Barber.

The funeral arrangements for Mr. Joseph Barber will be held on Friday, January 10, 2020 at two o'clock in the afternoon in the chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home with Bro. Jim Long officiating.  Interment will follow in the Sanders Cemetery.

The family of Mr. Barber will receive family and friends on Friday, January 10, 2020, at eleven o'clock in the morning until the funeral hour at Gammage Funeral Home.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Eric Meeker, Jamie Bullock, Steven Maddux, Preston Barber, Donald Welchel and Jesse Hert.
