Mr. Jose Guadalupe Arias, age 39 of Rome, Georgia, passed away on Friday, September 13, 2013. He was born on January 12, 1974 in Michoacan, Mexico.

Mr. Arias is survived by his mother, Maria De LaLuz Torres; wife, Stephanie Carter Arias; daughter, Elizabeth Arias; son, Jose Arias; brothers, Hector and Susana Arias and family, Mario Sanchez and family and Rigoberto Sanchez and family and sisters, Yesenia Arias and Fidel Bautista and family, Vanesa Arias and Manuel Soberanis and family, Raquel Arias and Rafael Berber, Berta Sanchez and family, Maria and Rafael Carrazco and family, Luisa Sanchez and family and Rosa Sanchez and family.

Mr. Arias is preceded in death by his father, Arturo Arias.

The funeral arrangements for Mr. Arias will be conducted on Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at two o'clock in the afternoon in the Gammage Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tim Burnham officiating. Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family of Mr. Arias will receive family and friends on Tuesday, September 17, 2013 from six o'clock in the evening until nine o'clock in the evening at the Gammage Funeral Home.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers; Jose Arias, Hector Arias, Salvador Grimaldo, Manuel Soberanis, Salvador Ramos, Juan Ramos, Miguel Uriostigui, Sergio Salpa, Benito Aguirre and Jose Manuel Castillo. Honorary pallbearers will be the Pepperell and Green Jackets Baseball team.

Flowers are being accepted; however donations can be made also to the SunTrust Arias Trust Fund.
