Mr. Jonathan Daniel Farmer, Sr., age 36 of Rome, passed away on Wednesday, August 16, 2017. He was born on June 28, 1981 in Rome, Georgia.

Mr. Farmer is survived by his mother, Thelma (Diane) Allen Farmer Grimes; step-father, Dennis; sons, Jonathan D. Farmer, Jr. and Hunter L. Farmer; step-daughter, Kristen Thomas; brothers, Michael Farmer (Kimberly), Brian Farmer and Joe Farmer; nieces, Haleigh, Ansley and Makayln and best friend (angel), Candace Adams Norrell.

Mr. Farmer is preceded in death by his father, Ronnie Joe Farmer; aunt, Melinda Sanchez; and grandparents, Tommy and Jean Allen and Lucille Hitchcock.

The funeral arrangements for Mr. Jonathan Daniel Farmer will be conducted on Sunday, August 20, 2017 at four o'clock in the afternoon in the chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home with Rev. Frankie Holtzclaw officiating. Interment will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery.

The family of Mr. Farmer will receive family and friends on Saturday, August 19, 2017 from six o'clock in the evening until eight o'clock in the evening at the Gammage Funeral Home.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Michael Farmer, Chris Striplin, J.R. Allen, Tony Dawson, Kenneth Dawson, and Brian Farmer. Honorary pallbearers will be Jonathan D. Farmer, Jr. and Logan Farmer.
