Obituary

Mr. Johnny Edward Harrell, Sr., age 80, of Cedartown, passed away on Thursday, December 10, 2009. He was born on June 3, 1929.

Mr. Harrell is preceded in death by wife, Ola Mae Harrell; daughter, Debbie Magbanua; mother, Eva Mae Ray Harrell Chesnut; and father, Herman David Harrell.

He is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Johnny Edward Harrell, Jr. and Jessica Harrell; daughters and sons-in-law, Vickie and Craig Vaden, Katrinka and Brandon Greenway, and Tammy and David Blankenship; stepsons and daughters-in-law, Morgan and Sherry Tracy, Jimmy and Linda Tracy, and Kenneth and Leslie Tracy; seventeen grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Terry Ray and Diane Harrell; sisters, Janice Westbrooks and Joyce Hulsey; sisters and brothers-in-law, Louise and Tom Thuresson, Ruby "Nell and James "Jim" Hicks, Joan and William "Bill" Willis; twenty-three nieces and nephews; and sisters-in-law, Dot Sutton and Mary Tracy.

The funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, December 12, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Olin L. Gammage & Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Wright and Mr. Bill Hicks officiating.

The family will receive friends on Friday, December 11, 2009 from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. at the Olin L. Gammage & Sons Funeral Home.

The interment will be held at Polk Memory Gardens. The Brewster-Cleveland Post #86 Honor Guard will conduct military honors. Jeremy Tracy, Adam Tracy, Brad Tracy, Ricky Price, David Mixon, Scott Davidson, Dennis Harrell, and Jason Harrell will serve as Pallbearers. Johnny Magbanua, Trent Tracy, Angel Harrell, Misty Wells, Lori Malloy, Marrissa Redd, Heather Hyers, Kayla Greenway, Holly Gosdin, Leah Brandon, Kara Lawrence, Stephanie Blankenship, Nicole Blankenship, and Tara Vaden will serve as Honorary Pallbearers.

The Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home is handling the arrangements for Mr. Johnny Edward Harrell, Sr.
