Mr. Johnnie Henry Edwards, Sr., age 86 of Mableton, Georgia passed away on Sunday, May 14, 2023. He was born on April 2, 1937 in Cedartown, Georgia. He was the son of the late William Herman and Alma Pratt Edwards.

Mr. Edwards is survived by his wife, Martha Louise Ellis Edwards; daughters, Jolinda Edwards and Beverley Landry; sons, Johnnie Edwards, Jr. and Wade Edwards; 7 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

Mr. Edwards is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Melody Wong and brothers, Bobby Edwards and Charlie Edwards.

The funeral arrangements for Mr. Edwards will be held on Thursday, May 18, 2023 at two o'clock in the afternoon in the chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home with Rev. Charlie Bell officiating. Interment will follow in the Polk Memory Gardens Cemetery.

The family of Mr. Edwards will receive family and friends on Thursday, May 18, 2023 from twelve o'clock in the afternoon until the funeral hour at the Gammage Funeral Home.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Johnnie Edwards, Jr., Wade Edwards, Michael Wong, Thaddeus Edwards, and Jonah Edwards.
