Mr. John Paul Swafford, age 53 of Cedartown, passed away on Monday, April 6, 2015. He was born on December 21, 1961 in Polk County. He was the son of the late Van Dewey and Margaret Mae Carter Swafford.

Mr. Swafford is survived by his wife, Rachel Marie Bartels Swafford; sons, Bradley Swafford and Matthew Swafford; sisters and brother-in-law, Terry Swafford Fincher (Butch) and Rita Swafford Burgdorf and two grandchildren.

The funeral arrangements for Mr. Swafford will be conducted on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at three o'clock in the afternoon in the chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Benefield officiating. Interment will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery.

The family of Mr. Swafford will receive family and friends on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 from two o'clock in the afternoon until the funeral hour at the Gammage Funeral Home.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Frank Parm, Tim Lary, Jonathan Bartels and Eugene Smith.
