Mr. John Ronald Spradlen, age 67, of Cedartown passed away Friday, February 9, 2007. He was born on April 25, 1939 in Columbus, Georgia.

He is preceded in death by parents, John T. and Linnie Williams Spradlen and daughter, Tammy J. Spradlen.

Mr. Spradlen is survived by sons, Donnie L. Spradlen, Sr. of Cedartown, Georgia and Thomas G. Spradlen of Lake Wales, Florida; daughter, Melinda Vaughan of Cedartown; sister, Janice Gilley; brothers, Norman Spradlen and Alton Spradlen all of Lakeland, Florida. Nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren also survive.

The funeral service will be conducted Tuesday, February 13th at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of the Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. John Donahue and Brother Jim Padgett officiating. Interment service will follow at Northview Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Monday, February 12th from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home.

Pallbearers are Donnie Spradlen, Jr., Ben Clark, Larry Jones, Sr., Larry Jones, Jr., Micheal Jones, Nick Smith, John Garner, and Jamie Ward.
