John Slaton Miller's Obituary
Mr. John Slaton Miller, age 95, of Rockmart, Georgia passed away on April 14, 2009. He was born July 23, 1913 in Polk County, the son of Mr. and Mrs. R. T. Miller.
He is preceded in death by wife, Mamie Lee Skates Miller; parents, R. T. Miller and Fannie Beatrice West Miller.
Mr. John Slaton Miller is survived by sons, Artemes Miller and Danny Miller. Seven Grandchildren and several great-grandchildren also survive.
The funeral for Mr. John Slaton Miller will be conducted on Thursday, April 16th, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Royce Campbell officiating. His interment will follow in Polk Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 15th, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Gammage Funeral Home.
Pallbearers are Chris Miller, David Gable, Shane Moore, Dee Pyles, Justin Crowley, and Jesse Crowley. Honorary pallbearers are Jonathon Pyles, Howard "Bo" Dodd, Jr. and Michael Pruitt.
The Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home is handling the arrangements for Mr. John Slaton Miller.
