Mr. John L. Redden, Jr., age 67 of Cedartown, passed away on Thursday, December 28, 2017. He was born on September 14, 1950 in Rome, Georgia. He was the son of the late John L. Redden, Sr. and Sarah Lee Redden.

Mr. Redden is survived by his sons, Keith Redden (Leah) and Shane Redden (Julie); sisters, Carolyn Parr (Don) and Edith Threadgill (Danny); sister-in-law, Gloria Redden; grandchildren, Alec Redden, Alyse Redden, Nick Redden, Trey Redden and Emily Redden; several nieces and nephews and his beloved dog, Maggie.

Mr. Redden is preceded in death by his parents; brother, James Howard Redden and nephew, Barry White.

In keeping with Mr. Redden's wishes he was cremated. A memorial service for Mr. Redden will be held on Saturday, December 30, 2017 in the chapel of the Gammage Funeral home at four o'clock in the afternoon with Rev. Ryan McElheney officiating.

The family of Mr. Redden will receive family and friends on Saturday, December 30, 2017 from three o'clock in the afternoon until the memorial service hour at the Gammage Funeral Home.

The family has requested that flowers are to be omitted and memorial donations can be made to Heyman Hospice of Floyd, 255 West Fifth Street, Rome GA 30165.
