Mr. John Anthony Ray Blalock "John Boy", age 28 of Cedartown passed away on Thursday, November 23, 2006. He was born in Floyd County on May 9, 1978.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Jack Hurley and Helen Hurley and Forrest Blalock and Eunice Blalock.

He is survived by his daughters, Brittany Blalock and Kaitlynn Blalock; son, John Tyler Blalock; wife, Zandra Spears; father and step-mother, Morris Blalock and Carol Blalock; mother, Angie Blalock; sisters, Misty Blalock and Sasha Blalock. Also surviving are 3 nieces, 1 nephew and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

The funeral service for John Anthony Ray Blalock "John Boy" will be conducted on Thursday, November 30th at 2:00p.m in the Chapel of the Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Jerome Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Northview Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00p.m. until 9:00p.m. on Tuesday, November 28th and Wednesday, November 29th at Gammage Funeral Home.

Pallbearers are Kerry Eason, Tony Williams, Daniel Christie, Wayne Welchel, BJ Hurley and Jason Johnson. Honorary Pallbearers are James Lipscomb, Thomas Lipscomb, Shannon Brantley and Jonathon Fowler
