Mr. John Lloyd Parris, age 37, of Cedartown, Georgia passed away on Thursday, July 16, 2009. He was born in Rockmart on October 5, 1971, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Parris.

Mr. Parris was an employee of H & W Transfer in Cedartown.

Mr. John Lloyd Parris is survived by wife, Dara Lynn Buchholz Parris; sons, Christopher Michael Lloyd Parris, John Tyler Parris, and Jeffery Austin Parris; daughter, Ashley Leighann Parris; parents Jesse and Sally Wright Parris; brother, Hoyt Greggory Parris. A number of beloved Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, and Nephews also survive.

He is preceded in death by grandparents, Hoyt and Ophelia Parris and Ed and Nellie Wright.

The memorial service will be conducted on Monday, July 20, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Roger Parris officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday from 1:00 until the funeral hour at the Gammage Funeral Home.
