Mr. John Ralph "Mac" McCarson, III, age 63 of Cedartown, passed away on Monday, December 11, 2017. He was born on July 10, 1954 in Cedartown.
Mac loved life, first and foremost he loved his beautiful daughter, his grandson and granddaughter. He loved fishing, hunting, his motorcycle, but his greatest hobby was skydiving.
He worked 27 years in the Forestry unit for Inland after they purchased it from Kraft. When he was in high school he and Mike Couzzort won state and a trip to California in a Plymouth trouble shooting contest. We all love to hear one of his tall tales or jokes just one more time!
Mr. McCarson is survived by his mother, Bonita Sutton Hobbs; daughter and son-in-law, Jessica M. and Brandon Atkins; sisters, Leigh Ann McCarson Adams (Kirk), Dea McCarson Chandler (Jim) and Rae McCarson; grandchildren, Gabriel Atkins and Landry Atkins; nieces, Tara Doria and Zella Vacarron and nephews, Christopher Correll, Stephen Adams and Carson Ellis.
