Mr. John David Duncan, Sr., age 73 of Cedartown, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday March 8, 2023.  He was born on March 23, 1949 in Atlanta, Georgia. He was the son of the late James Molin and Eula Harris Duncan.

Mr. Duncan is survived by his son, John David Duncan, Jr.; step-daughter, Michelle Rene Williamson; sisters, Barbara Causey, Brenda Malcom, and Lucy Duncan; brothers, Thomas Duncan, Kenneth Duncan, Charles Duncan, and Joseph Duncan; grandchildren, Paige Duncan, Gage Duncan, Jaxon Rice, Courtney Campbell, Ivy Williamson, and Jonas Williamson; and great-grandchildren, Theseus Sheppard, Athena Sheppard, Lakleigh Robertson, Johnnie Kole Robertson, Carter Duncan, Jeremiah Roberts, Khonner Presnall, Denver Presnall, and Skipper Campbell.

Mr. Duncan is preceded in death by his parents; brother, James Duncan, and grandson, John Kole Duncan, V.

The funeral arrangements for Mr. John David Duncan will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at one o'clock in the afternoon in the chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home with Rev. Oscar Dwight Rowe officiating.  Interment will follow in the Buchanan City Cemetery.

The family of Mr. Duncan will receive family and friends on Saturday, March 11, 2023 from eleven o'clock in the morning until the funeral hour at the Gammage Funeral Home.
