Mr. John Douglas Clay, age 52 of Cedartown, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, December 30, 2014. He was born on December 12, 1962.

Mr. Clay is survived by his wife, Faye Welchel Clay; mother, Anita Cooper Clay; grandmother, Mildred Cooper "Granny Cooper"; step-daughter and son-in-law, Chasity and Kacey Wilson; son and daughter-in-law, Chip and Tonya Welchel; brothers and sister-in-laws, Jeff and Stephanie Clay, Kirt and Jennifer Clay; grandchildren, Trenton Rittenhouse and Chanley Wilson; nieces and nephews, Evan Clay, Aubrey Clay, Kara Clay and Emma Jean Clay.

Mr. Clay is preceded in death by his father; Douglas Wayne Clay.

The memorial service for Mr. Clay will be conducted on Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at seven o'clock in the evening at The Gammage Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Boatner officiating.

The family of Mr. Clay will receive family and friends on Wednesday, December 31, 2014 from 6pm until 7pm.
