Mr. John David "Boober" Jolly, age 77 of Cedartown, passed away on Wednesday, September 20, 2017. He was born on April 24, 1940 in Cedartown, GA. He was the son of the late Mr. Homer Jolly and Mrs. Jeanie Mae Smith Jolly.

Mr. Jolly is survived by his wife, Margaret Barbre Jolly; daughter and son-in-law, Sandi and Kenneth Shelley; son, Michael Wilson; sister, Jean Sharpe; grandchildren, John and Jenni Speight and Megan Morris Sharrow; great-grandson, Carter Sharrow and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mr. Jolly is preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Katheryn Kerr, Evelyn Meadows, Virginia Hilburn and Diane Morris and brothers, Raymond Jolly Harold Jolly, Bruce Jolly, Richard Jolly and Russell Jolly.

The arrangements for Mr. John David Jolly will be conducted on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at eleven o'clock in the morning at the Anna Kresge United Methodist Church with Rev. Ed Dickens officiating and Ms. Megan Morris Sharrow giving the eulogy. Interment will follow in the Northview Cemetery.

The family of Mr. Jolly will receive family and friends on Friday, September 22, 2017 from five o'clock in the evening until seven o'clock in the evening at the Gammage Funeral Home.

The family is accepting flowers; however, memorial donations can be made to Kresge UMC building fund, 15 Booger Hollow Road, Cedartown, GA 30125.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: John Speight, Carter Sharrow, Jeff Jolly, Alan Jolly, Barry Sharpe, Steve Wilson, Lee Jolly, Neal Jolly, Jr. and Devin Lester. Honorary pallbearers will be, Ken Jolly and Neal Jolly Sr.
