Mr. John D. Anderson, age 73, of Jackson, GA died Monday, April 12, 2010. He was born in Cedartown, GA to the late James Lilborn and Dovie Elizabeth Peace Anderson.

Mr. Anderson served our country with the United States Air Force. He was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church in Jackson, GA.

Mr. Anderson is survived by his wife, Shirley May Anderson; children, Jim Anderson, Mt. Airy, GA, Angie Kilgore, Locust Grove, GA, Cindy Anderson, McDonough, GA, Becky Williamson, Marietta, GA, Sam Anderson, Jackson, GA, Nathan Anderson, Jackson, GA, Ben Anderson, Mt. Airy, GA; 21 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday at Lighthouse Baptist Church with Brother Tommy Aman and Brother Rob Tinney officiating. Interment will follow at Jackson City Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Lighthouse Baptist Church Building Fund.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
