Mr. Joe Brown "J.B." Floyd, Jr. age 58, of Cedartown passed away on Friday, August 17, 2007. He was born January 24, 1949 in Polk County. Mr. Floyd was a veteran of the United States Army.

Mr. Floyd is preceded in death by his father Mr. Joe Brown Floyd Sr.; mother,
Mrs. Lois Waddle Floyd; and his brother Mr. Melvin Floyd.

Mr. Floyd is survived by wife, Mrs. Sandra Trammell Floyd; daughters and sons-in law, Dawn and Todd Norris, Dena and Bruce Mattox, daughter Dana Bailey; son, Brian East; step-daughters, Ramona Allen, Tammy Gilliam, Teresa South, and Jennifer South; step-son, Gary South; sisters, Betty Jo Ledbetter, Joyce Nicholson, and Connie Ingram; brothers, Harold Floyd, Wendell Floyd, Marvin Floyd, and Dennis Floyd; six grandchildren, nine step-grandchildren, and two great-step grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 18, from 7:00 until
9:00 p.m. at the Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home.

The funeral service for Mr. Joe Brown "J.B." Floyd, Jr. will be conducted on Sunday, August 19 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Ray Floyd officiating. The interment service will follow at Northview Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Zack Mattox, Ryan Norris, Cory Harrison, Brandon Johnson, Joshua Johnson, and Eric Johnson.

Honorary Pallbearers are Drew Mattox and Zach Green.
