Mrs. Joan East Farmer, age 73 of Douglasville, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, July 6, 2016. She was born on March 28, 1943 in Polk County. She was the daughter of the late Richard and Fannie Miller East.
Mrs. Farmer was a long time employee of Arrow Shirt Company.
Mrs. Farmer is survived by her husband, Jerry Farmer; sons and daughter-in-laws, Scot and Beth Baldwin and Todd and Pam Baldwin; sister, Janis Beck (Fred); brothers, David East (Mary) and Curtis East; grandchildren, Scot Baldwin, Jr. (Aimee), Melea Baldwin, Brandy Zeigler and Jarrett Baldwin and great-grandchildren, Christopher Baldwin, Jr., Audrey Sewell, Austin Baldwin, Christian Baldwin, Ethan Jones, Savannah Baldwin and Kaley Zeigler.
Mrs. Farmer is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Diane East Cole; brothers, Howard East and Wilburn East and grandson, Christopher Baldwin, Sr.
The funeral arrangements for Mrs. Joan East Farmer will be conducted on Friday, July 8, 2016 at eleven o'clock in the morning in the Chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home with Rev. Josh Agan officiating. Interment will follow in the Polk Memory Gardens.
The family of Mrs. Farmer will receive family and friends on Thursday, July 7, 2016 from six o'clock in the evening until eight o'clock in the evening at the Gammage Funeral Home.
The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Scot Baldwin, Jr., Jarrett Baldwin, Christopher Baldwin, Jr., Christian Baldwin, Clint East, Brad East, Chad Cole, Brandon East, Christoph Runyon and Greg Beck.
