Mrs. Jo Carlene Warren, age 76, of Cedartown, Georgia, formerly of Panama City, Florida, passed away on May 22, 2013. She born on June 29, 1936 in Panama City, Florida. She was the daughter of Clifford and Myrtle Preston .

Mrs. Warren is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Marie Warren and Mark Merritt of Cedartown, Georgia; son and daughter-in-law, Preston and Terry Warren of Houston, Texas; and grandchildren, Megan Marie Warren of Panama City Beach, Florida, and Ann Marie Merritt of Cedartown, Georgia; sister, Jeanne Goodson of White City, Florida; brothers, Donald Preston of Tallahassee, Florida, and Roland Preston of Panama City, Florida.


Mrs. Warren is preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie Lee Warren; parents, Clifford and Myrtle Preston; sister, Kathy Lytle of Blountstown, Florida; and special aunt, Elizabeth (Libby) Pope of Panama City, Florida.

A private service will be held by the family on May 31, 2013, at Evergreen Memorial in Panama City, Florida. The family requests in lieu of flowers that contributions be made in Mrs. Warren's name to St. Jude Children's Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.
