Mr. Jimmy Clarence Statham, age 80, of Cedartown, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, August 11, 2021.  He was born on January 27, 1941 in Polk County.  He was the son of the late James Elmer and Annice Wells Statham.

Mr. Statham was a long time member of the First Baptist Church of Cedartown, and retired from General Motors.

Mr. Statham is survived by his wife, Clair Reeves Statham; sons, Keith Statham (Joni), Carey Statham (Sarah) and Van Godfrey; daughter, Denise Crozier (Geoffrey); brothers, JE Statham and Hugh Woods; sisters, Mary Ann Weatherby and June Addison; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Mr. Statham is preceded in death by his parents; son, James Carey Statham; and brothers, Howard Statham and Royce Statham.

In keeping with Mr. Statham's wishes' he was cremated.  A private memorial service for the family will be held at a later time.
