Mr. Jimmy Larry Atkins, age 54 of Cedartown, passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2014. He was born on October 6, 1959 in Rockmart, Georgia. He was the son of the late Jimmy & Frances Crawford Atkins.

Mr. Atkins is survived by his daughters, Kandy Perry (Mark) and Dione Atchley (Leonard); his only true love, Mary Jane Atkins Legg; grandchildren, Kyle Perry & Delaney, Blake Perry, Lana Atchley, Georgia Atchley, Brantley Atchley; sister, Deborah Brown (Donnie); special aunt, Marylou Crawford; nieces & nephews, Amanda Hendrix & Chad, Danny Brown & Leslie; great niece & great nephew, Livie Gammage, Tyler Brown; also survived by a number of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Mr. Atkins is preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, Howard & Magaline Crawford, George & Louella Atkins; uncle, Albert Crawford; son-in-law, Robby Perry; brother-in-law, Scott Brown.

The funeral service for Mr. Jimmy Larry Atkins will be conducted on Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at Two o'clock in the afternoon in the Gammage Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Lindsey Maxwell officiating. Interment will follow in the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jacob Legg, Gary Crawford, Frank Crawford, Danny Brown, Kyle Perry, and Blake Perry.

The family of Mr. Atkins will receive family and friends on Monday, January 27, 2014 from six o'clock to nine o'clock in the evening at the Gammage Funeral Home.
