Mrs. Jewell Dean Hindmon, age 78, of Cedartown passed away Saturday, August 9, 2008. She was born on June 27, 1930 in Cherokee County, Alabama.

She is preceded in death by her Parents, Issac Tanner & Berta Viola Mills Tanner; Husband, James Ollie Hindmon, Sr.; Son, Michael Barry Hindmon; and Brother, Doyle Thomas Tanner.

She is survived by her Sons and Daughters-in-law, James & Delilah Hindmon and Greg & Kim Hindmon; Grandchildren, Kevin Hindmon, Jesica Hindmon, Krista Hindmon Wilkes and Jeremy Wilkes, Brandon Hindmon, Bradley Hindmon, and Phillip Hindmon; Great Grandchildren, Nicholas Hindmon, Kylie Alyssa Leming, and Shelby Lynn Wilkes (Due in 2 weeks).

The funeral service for Mrs. Jewell Dean Hindmon will be conducted on Wednesday, August 13, 2008 at 11:00 am in the chapel of Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Earl Partain, Sr. and Rev. Danny English officiating. The interment will follow in Polk Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday August 12, 2008 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Gammage Funeral Home.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Kevin Hindmon, Phillip Hindmon, Brandon Hindmon, Bradley Hindmon, Jeremy Wilkes, and Gary Wright.
