Mr. Jesse Franklin Kilgore, age 77, of Rome, passed away on Sunday, December 18, 2016. He was born on October 23, 1939 in Kingston, Georgia. He was the son of the late Thomas Woodrow and Nellie Hunter Kilgore.

Mr. Kilgore is survived by his wife, Charlotte Woods Kilgore; daughters, Kimberly Kilgore Unick and Gina Kilgore Lee (Jimmy); son, Terry Patterson (Judy); 7 grandchildren, one great-grandchild; sister, Joann Eller (Ray) and brothers, Thomas Kilgore, C.L. Kilgore and Danny Kilgore (Rachel).

Mr. Kilgore is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Renae Kilgore Wilson and brother, Bobby Kilgore.

The funeral arrangements for Mr. Jesse Franklin Kilgore will be conducted on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at three o'clock in the afternoon in the chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home with Mr. Doug Woods, Rev. Rickey Studdard and Rev. Jimmy Welborn officiating. Music will be provided by Mrs. Pam Scott Atcheson. Interment will follow in the Polk Memory Gardens Cemetery with Rev. Alan Fuller officiating.

The family of Mr. Kilgore will receive family and friends on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 from six o'clock in the evening until eight o'clock in the evening at the Gammage Funeral Home.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Roy Woods, Jerry Woods, Doug Woods, Jimmy Lee, Patrick Lee and Jason Ruff. Honorary pallbearers will be Matt Patterson, Frankie Woods, Thomas Ray Eller, David Eller, C.L. Kilgore, and Eddie Goss.
