Mr. Jerry Wayne Woods, age 66 of Pell City, AL passed away on Monday, May 15, 2017. He was born on October 14, 1950. He was the son of the late Charlie and Clara Woods.

Mr. Woods is survived by his wife, Diana Woods; daughters, Jada Wane (Doug) Brownfield and Eva (Mark) Hildebrant; son, Jarod L. Woods; grandchildren, Paige Brownfield, Anna Brownfield, Clayton Hildebrant, Collin Hildebrant and Garrison Hildebrant; brothers, Roy (Carol) Woods, Douglas (Bessie) Woods, Frankie (Susan) Woods and sisters, Charlotte Kilgore and Sandra (Eddie) Goss.

Mr. Woods is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Ray Woods.

A graveside service for Mr. Jerry Wayne Woods will be conducted on Thursday, May 18, 2017 at one o'clock in the afternoon in the Polk Memory Gardens Cemetery with Rev. Wayne Benefield officiating and Mr. Ken Woods giving the eulogy. Full Military Rites will be conducted by the Brewster-Cleveland American Legion Honor Guard Post #86.

The family of Mr. Woods will receive family and friends on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 from five o'clock in the evening until eight o'clock in the evening at Kilgroe Funeral Home, 2219 Second Avenue, Pell City, AL 35125.

The family has requested that flowers are to be omitted and donations can donations may be made to the Robert L. Howard State Veteran's Home, 7054 Veterans Parkway, Pell City, Alabama 35125 or the Animal Shelter of Pell City, 1071 Airport Road, Pell City, Alabama 35128.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Terry Patterson, Jason Ruff, Jerry Palmer, Randy McElwee, Ken Woods and James Pittman.
