Mrs. Jerry Carole Sutton, age 78 of Cedartown, passed away on Tuesday, August 30, 2016. She was born on April 6, 1938 in Polk County. She was the daughter of the late Thomas Herschel Stephens and Bertie Moncrief Stephens.

Mrs. Sutton is survived by her husband, Bill Sutton; sons, William Sutton, Jr., Barry Sutton and Stephen Sutton; brothers, Thomas H. Stephens, Jr. and Mike Stephens; five grandchildren, Collin Sutton, Correy Sutton, Mike Sutton, Cody Smiley and McKenzie Anderson; two great-grandchildren, Hunter Sutton and Bella Sutton and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral arrangements for Mrs. Jerry Carole Sutton will be conducted on Friday, September 2, 2016 at two o'clock in the afternoon in the chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home with Rev. Reginald Campbell officiating. Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family of Mrs. Sutton will receive family and friends on Friday, September 2, 2016 from twelve (noon) o'clock in the afternoon until the funeral hour at the Gammage Funeral Home.
