Mr. Jerry Lynn "Skipper" Wood, age 58, of Cedartown, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, April 29, 2020.  He was born on June 28, 1961 in Rome, Georgia.  He was the son of the late Dewey Bert and Judith Carroll Wood.

Mr. Wood is survived by his wife, Kim Weaver Wood; daughter, Ahren Wood (Jody); grandchildren, Halee Wood and Harlee Wood; sister, Lisa Dale Allen; step-mother, Ann Nelson; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and close friends.

Mr. Wood is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Gina Wood Jackson; grandparents, William and Caro Smith, Bert Wood, Sr., Kermit Wood, and Maedale McInvale; and step- brother, Jeff Liley.

In accordance with local, state and federal guidelines a private graveside service will be held for his immediate family.
