Mr. Jerry Lee Patterson, age 68, of Cedartown passed away on Thursday 15, 2009. He was born April 28, 1940 in Polk County.
His parents were the late Charlie and Jettie Chanell Patterson and sisters, the late Jewell Wilson and Sybil Pitts.

Mr. Jerry Patterson was an employee of Jockey International, Cedartown Plant for 28 years. When Jockey planned to close the plant, Jerry began working as a self-employed, well-known electrician serving the citizens of Polk County and surrounding communities.

Family members surviving are wife, Elaine Arnette Patterson; son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Judy Patterson; step-sons, Jason Brown and Jeremy Brown; sisters, Evelyn Bailey and Betty Cosby; brother, Coye Patterson. Grandchildren, Matt Patterson, Kirsten Brown and Kristopher Brown also survive.

The funeral service for Mr. Jerry Lee Patterson will be conducted on Saturday, January 17, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of the Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Anthony Osborne and Dr. Larry Conner officiating. The interment will follow in Northview Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on January 16, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Barry Carter, Rocky Tillery, Joe Kelley, Dwight Jolly, Don Taylor, and Bryan Popham.
