Jerry Knowles' Obituary
Mr.Jerry Knowles, age 73, of Cedartown passed away on Friday, April 11, 2008 at his residence.
He was born July 16, 1934 in Polk County, Georgia.
Mr. Knowles founded, previously owned, and operated Valley Memorials Monument Company in Cedartown.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Myrna Knowles and his parents, Charles William Knowles and Katherine Heard Knowles.
Family survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Gary Millican; son, Chuck Knowles. Six Grandchildren also survive.
The memorial service for Mr. Knowles will be conducted on Monday, April 14, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Benefield officiating.
The family will receive friends Monday, from 11:00 until 2:00 at the funeral home.
The family has requested that flowers be omitted. Donations may be made to Regency Hospice Northwest Georgia, 20B Foxchase, Cartersville, GA 30120.
The Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home is handling the arrangements for Mr. Jerry Knowles.
