Ms. Janice Roden Bryan Tidwell, age 70, of Boaz, Alabama, formerly of Cedartown, Georgia, passed away on Monday, September 26, 2011. She was born on September 14, 1941. She was the daughter to the late Mr. and Mrs. Joe D. and Kathleen Bevel Bryan.

Ms. Tidwell is survived by son, Dana Roden; sister and brother-in-law, Dian Allred and James; brother-in-law, Geane Harmon; three grandchildren, Hannah Roden, Sam Roden and Kristy Roden Thornton and husband Christopher; three great-grandchildren, Christopher Thornton, Jr., Camron Thornton and Caden Thornton and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Ms. Tidwell is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bruce Tidwell; son, Jeffery Roden; sister, Glenda Kay Harmon and brothers, Larry Joe Bryan and Michael Everett Bryan.

A graveside memorial service for Ms. Tidwell will be conducted on Friday, September 30, 2011 at two o'clock in the afternoon at the Bethel Baptist Church cemetery, in Forney, Alabama, with Rev. Tim Allred officiating.

The family of Ms. Tidwell will receive family and friends on Wednesday, September 28, 2011 from three o'clock in the afternoon until six o'clock in the evening at the Gammage Funeral Home.

The family has asked that flowers are to be omitted; however, donations can be made to a charity of your choice.
