Mr. James Wiley Sorrells, age 86, of Rockmart, GA, passed away on Wednesday, January 30, 2013. He was born on September 10, 1926 in Rockmart. He was the son of the late Thomas Clifford and Mamie Elsie Trammell Sorrells.

Mr. Sorrells is survived by his sister, Margaret Ann Jarrad; seven grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Mr. Sorrells is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mary Louise Malone Sorrells; sons, Jerry Sorrells, James Thomas Sorrells and Dennis Lamar Sorrells; sisters, Lottie Taylor, Mamie Lou Hughes, Christine Arp and Alice Louise Caldwell and brothers, Bill Sorrells, T.C. Sorrells and Marshall Sorrells.

A graveside and interment service will be conducted on Thursday, January 31, 2013 at one o'clock in the afternoon at Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery with Chaplain Mitzi Oates officiating.

The family of Mr. Sorrells will receive family and friends on Thursday, January 31, 2013 from twelve o'clock (noon) until one o'clock in the afternoon at the Gammage Funeral Home.
