Mr. James Allen Vaughn, age 52, of Cedartown, GA, passed away Saturday, July 18, 2009. He was born November 5, 1956 in Bartow County, GA, the son of the late James M. Vaughn and Helen Vaughn Mulkey.

Mr. Vaughn is survived by wife, Renay Tant Vaughn; daughters, Angela Flanagan, Hilary Vaughn; sons, Kevin Vaughn, Scottie Ray; half brothers, Johnny Vaughn, Larry Vaughn, and Jerry Vaughn. His grandchildren including Kyle Flanagan, Cody Vaughn, Chelsey Vaughn, Damon Ray and Brittney Brand also survive.

Mr. Vaughn is preceded in death by his parents.

The funeral service for Mr. Vaughn will be conducted on Monday, July 20, 2009, at 2:00 p.m. at Valley View Baptist Church with Rev. Joey Martin officiating. The body will lie in state at the church for one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery in Cartersville.

Kevin Vaughn, Kyle Flanagan, Justin Hill, David Wheeler, Jason Jennings, and Kenneth Easterwood will serve as Pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers will be Johnny Godfrey and Cody Vaughn.

The family will receive friends on Sunday July 19, 2009 from 5:00 till 9:00 p.m. at the Gammage Funeral Home.
