Mr. James Ollie Spivey, Sr., age 64, of Cedartown, passed away Thursday, January 4, 2007. He was born on March 30, 1942 in Polk County.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Maurine Simpson Henson; and father, Buddy Spivey.

Mr. Spivey is survived by his wife, Diane Gladys Morini Spivey; daughter, Sabrina Rena Smith; sons, James Ollie Spivey, Jr. and David Boyd Spivey, sisters, Connie Dyer and Deborah Suskey and brothers, Randy Henson and Gerry Henson. Also surviving are grandchildren Kassandra, Chance, Kayla and Krystal.

The funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, January 6th at 3:00p.m. at the Rockmart Church of God with Pastor Edward Pasley, Jack Goss and James Spivey, Jr. officiating. Entombment will follow at Polk Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends on Friday, January 5th from 7:00p.m. until 9:00p.m. at Gammage Funeral Home.

Pallbearers are Jack Goss, James Ollie Spivey, Jr., David Boyd Spivey, David Simpson, Edward Bruce, Sr. and Roy Tracy. Honorary pallbearers are Michael Goss, Randy Henson, Edward Bruce, Jr. and Roy Tracy, Jr.
