Mr. James Joel Scott Perry, age 47 of Cedartown, passed away on Tuesday, February 16, 2016. He was born on July 4, 1968 in Rome, Georgia.

Mr. Perry is survived by his parents, James "Jim" Perry and Wilma Sue Marble Perry; daughter, Emmalyne Rose "Emma" Perry; son, James William Scott "J.W." Perry, and many family members and friends.

The funeral arrangements for Mr. James Joel Scott Perry will be conducted on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at three o'clock in the afternoon at the First United Methodist Church of Cave Spring with Rev. John Page officiating and with Mr. Joe Lambert and Pastor Steve Fetkenhour speaking. Interment will follow in the Polk Memory Gardens Cemetery.

The family of Mr. Perry will receive family and friends on Saturday, February 20, 2016 from 12:30pm until the funeral hour at the First United Methodist Church of Cave Spring.

The family has requested that flowers are to be omitted and memorial donations can be made to the First United Methodist Church of Cave Spring, 30 Alabama Street, Cave Spring, GA 30124.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Joe Lambert, Daron Roberson, Scott Cosper, Keith Cheatwood, Justin Williams, David McKinney, Joey Johnson and J.W. Perry. Honorary pallbearer will be Jim Perry.
