Mr. James Dewell Puckett, age 62, of Cedartown passed away Thursday, February 21, 2008. He was born November 8, 1945 in Polk County, Georgia.

Family members surviving are mother, Doratha Turner Puckett; daughters, Brenda Grissom, Misty Cook, Jamie Strozier, and Kayla Puckett; sons, Donald Puckett and Randy Puckett; brothers and sisters-in-law, Gary and Ramonia Puckett, Buster and Pat Puckett, Darrell and Cathy Puckett. Twenty grandchildren also survive.

Mr. Puckett is preceded in death by father, George Bud Puckett and granddaughter, Bailey Bynum.

The funeral service for Mr. Puckett will be conducted on Sunday, February 24, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Hulsey officiating. Interment will follow in Northview Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 23, from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home.

Pallbearers are Gary Puckett, Buster Puckett, Darrell Puckett, Chris Robinson, Kenneth Puckett, Cory Puckett, and Donald Baker.

The Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home is handling the arrangements for Mr. James Dewell Puckett.
