Rev. James "J. C." Lorren, age 80, of Cedartown passed away on Wednesday, February 1, 2012. He was born October 5, 1931 in Borden Springs, AL.
He is preceded in death by parents, Alex Lorren and Bessie Seigler Lorren; sister, Gloria Jean McGee and brothers, Jessie McGee and J. B. McGee.
Rev. J. C. Lorren is survived by daughters, Deborah White, Connie Bonds and Pennie Shelton; sister, Annie Mae Morris; brother, Willie McGee; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren also survive.
The funeral service for Rev. J. C. Lorren will be conducted on Saturday, February 4th, at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Olin L. Gammage & Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Russell and Rev. Ben Russell officiating. The interment will follow in Polk Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends Friday, February 3rd from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. at the Gammage Funeral Home.
Pallbearers are Cliff Bonds, Ashley Witt, Dillon Bonds, Elijah Bonds, Barry Bonds, and Michael Shelton. The honorary pallbearer is Kela Shelton.
