Mr. James Allan "Jamie" Lindsey, age 64 of Cedartown, passed away on Wednesday, December 6, 2017. He was born on October 13, 1953, in Cedartown. Jamie was the son of the late James Herman Lindsey and Sally Ruth Baker Lindsey.

Mr. Lindsey was first and foremost a Christian, and his proudest achievement was starting Youth for Christ at Cedartown High School in 1971. Jamie's interests included a passion for music and playing guitar. He was an avid antiques collector, especially treasuring rare, antique bottles. Additionally, Mr. Lindsey was a loyal Atlanta Falcons fan.

Mr. Lindsey is survived by his wife Nina Bowen Lindsey; daughters Amie Lindsey Dobbs (Ron) and Rachel Lindsey Roberts (Brian); sister Delores L. Wood; grandsons Andrew Rainey and John French; nephew Jonathan Wood; nieces Tiffany Castellanos and Ashlie Floyd; grandnephews Clayton Floyd and Bricen Floyd; and grandniece Keylie Sisson.

Mr. Lindsey is preceded in death by his parents, his brother Terry Lindsey, and his brother-in-law Dean Wood.

The funeral arrangements for Jamie Lindsey will be conducted on Tuesday, December 12, 2017, at three o'clock in the afternoon at Eastview Baptist Church with Rev. Reginald Campbell and Mr. Clayton Floyd officiating. Interment will follow in the Eastview Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive family and friends on Tuesday, December 12, 2017, from one o'clock in the afternoon until the funeral hour.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Brian Roberts, Tommy Roberts, John French, Andrew Rainey, Jonathan Wood, Clayton FLoyd and Bricen Floyd.
