Rev. James (Jim) Lee Hubbard, age 82, of Cedartown, passed away on Monday, March 26, 2012. He was born on May 29, 1929 in Bartow Co., Georgia, the son of the late George D. Hubbard & Myrtle Watkins Hubbard.

Rev. Hubbard is survived by his wife, Mrs. Bonnie Searles Hubbard; daughter, Angie Hubbard Watson; sons, Jimmy Hubbard, Jeffery Hubbard, Michael Hubbard, and Tim Hubbard. Two sisters, Mildred Earwood & Hazel Blalock; Twenty Four grandchildren, and several great grandchildren also survive.

The funeral service for Rev. James (Jim) Lee Hubbard will be conducted on Sunday, April 1, at 3:00 p.m. at the Rockmart Church of God of the Union Assembly with Rev. Jack Searles and Rev. Houston Eaton officiating. Interment will follow in Mount Tabor Baptist Church Cemetery in Taylorsville, Georgia.

Rev. Hubbard's body will lie in state and the family will receive friends on Sunday April 1, from 1:30 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the Rockmart Church of God of the Union Assembly.

Thomas Lentz, Larry Duke, Kenneth Lentz, Junior Parker, Lance West, Jerry Thurmon, and Tad Stringer will serve as pallbearers.

The Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home is handling the arrangements for Rev. James (Jim) Lee Hubbard.
