Mr. James Edward Green, age 75 of Brunswick, Georgia, formerly of Cedartown, passed away Friday, January 5, 2018. He was born on July 28, 1942 in Polk County. He was the son of the late Herman D. Green and Rodie Lee Highfield Drummond.

Mr. Green is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly and Jerry Reeves; sisters, Doris Sherbert and Ruby Nell Edwards; brothers, Bud Green and David Green; grandsons, James Cody Green, Jacob Lee Reeves and Trevor Reeves and great-grandson, Wyatt James Green.

Mr. Green is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Catherine J. Harris Green; sister, Silva Ledbetter and brother, Lewis Drummond, Jr.

The funeral arrangements for Mr. James Edward Green will be conducted on Monday, January 8, 2018 at eleven o'clock in the morning in the chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Tucker officiating. Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family of Mr. Green will receive family and friends on Sunday, January 7, 2018 from six o'clock in the evening until eight o'clock in the evening at the Gammage Funeral Home.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: James Cody Green, Jacob Lee Reeves, Trevor Reeves and other nephews.
