Mr. James Fred Coleman, age 81, of Cedartown passed away on Sunday, October 31, 2010. He was born on February 25, 1927 in Cedartown, Georgia to the late Alfred Gilbert Coleman and Mattie Ione Henderson Coleman. Mr. Coleman is also preceded in death by his wife, Lois Mae Sheets Coleman; sisters, Dorothy Coleman Zuirblis and Estelle Coleman Rice; and brother, Howard Coleman.

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, David and Martha Coleman; grandchildren, Chris & Alisha Coleman and Melissa Coleman; great grandchildren, Joshua Maddox, Brittany Maddox, and Addison Coleman; sister, Mary Coleman Ayers; and brother, Donnie Coleman. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

The funeral service for Mr. Fred Coleman will be conducted on Tuesday, November 2, at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Olin L. Gammage & Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Vines and Rev. Danny Tucker officiating. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery with Masonic Rites performed by Caledonia Masonic Lodge # 121 and West Georgia Masonic Memorial Club.

The family will receive friends on Monday, November 1st , from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Olin L. Gammage & Sons Funeral Home.

Pallbearers are Steve Rice, David Hatch, Richie Hatch, Randy Stephens, Mike Rice, and Jerry Jones.

The family has requested that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to the Faith Baptist Church Building Fund; P.O. Box 281, Cedartown, GA 30125.
