Mr. James Raymond Forrister, age 67, of Cedartown, GA, passed away Saturday, September 5, 2009. He was born January 14, 1942 in Haralson County.

Mr. Forrister is survived by wife, Ronda Forrister; daughter and son-in-law, Rise' & Chuck O'bryan; grandchildren Tommy, Aubrie, and Leigh O'bryan; sisters, Maedell Pierce, Virginia Thomason; and brother, Doug Forrister. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Mildred Forrister.

Mr. Forrister proudly served his Country in the United States Army and will be remembered as a gentle man that could fix any broken tractor.

The family will receive friends Monday evening September 7th from 6:00 until 9:00p.m. at the Gammage Funeral Home.

The graveside funeral service for Mr. Forrister will be conducted on Tuesday September 8th 2009, at 11:00a.m. in Polk Memory Gardens with Rev. Tommy McGuire officiating.

Mr. Forrister will be accepting flowers; however, donations can be made to Heyman Hospice Care at Floyd P.O. Box 163 Rome, Ga. 30162-0163

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Ken Forrister, Bart Forrister, J.R. Farrister, Rodney Hardin, Mike Purcell, and Mike Lester.
